MIKEY JONNS

This Feeling, London, UK

This Feeling started as a monthly club night in London 2006 and has since evolved to be the no1 guitar music event in the UK, hosting up to 40 shows a month all over the country. Mikey has developed This Feeling into a renowned supporter of new music, being a music site and an important tour promoter who also runs stages at some of the biggest music events in England, such as The Great Escape and Isle of Wight Festival. The strategy has been to work hard, to put on the best new bands and keep on supporting them. That way they have been part of building the success for bands like Catfish and the Bottlemen, Blossoms and Bang Bang Romeo, and they continue to hold their position as an authority when it comes to predicting the guitar bands we will listen to tomorrow.

Carlo started the independent label Kollektivet Records in 2014, with a group of friends living together and also being in four different bands. 2015 that grew into a basement called Plan B, an independent music venue for members only, which during four years turned into a popular and safe space with loads of live music set up in a sustainable way. Just when Plan B seemed to have created a club that would just continue, the city of Malmö forced Carlo to close it all down and apply for permits. Permits that never arrived.
