Conference

The conference takes place at Pustervik daytime Saturday and will address contemporary and current issues within today's music landscape. Like previous years, the guests are hand picked up from the global music industry and then mixed up with those active in Gothenburg and the rest of Sweden. In the end we’ll have eight hours of inspiration, meetings, interviews, panels and networking on the agenda.

EMIL WINKLER

Emil is an entertainment lawyer representing a wide range of national and international clients. He started in the music business as a musician (drummer) and moved on to be an artist manager. Since 2009 he's been an entertainment lawyer and in 2017 he founded Sweden's first full-service boutique law firm, Crown.
Crown works with a variety of different clients such as musicians, eSport athletes, actors, skateboard pros, artists, models, and streamers. As an attorney, you need to choose the side that you are representing and coming from the artist side, Crown is always representing the creative side of the entertainment business, such as the artists, authors, etc.


ROGER ANDERSSON

SUICIDE RECORDS, GOTHENBURG, SE

Roger Andersson is the founder of Suicide Records, an independent record label based in Gothenburg, Sweden and Tampere, Finland. Suicide Records went from dream to reality during the fall of 2006 when Roger Andersson and Henrik Anestedt decided that DIY was the way to go. In 2017 Suicide Records opened its Finnish branch of the label, when partners Taru and Otto joined the family with the exact same values.


LINN MARGRETHE SKOIE

VULKAN ARENA, OSLO, NO

Linn Margrethe Skoie is driven by a genuine passion for music and worked as head of  booking and promoter at the legendary club Cafe Mono, which closed down dec 30th 2018.
She is currently working as a booking agent and in the production team at Vulkan Arena, Krøsset and Pokalen in Oslo. As she lives and breathes music, she also freelance as a booking agent for a few bands and artists on the side, such as Norwegian grammy artist Malin Pettersen, The Secret Sound of Dreamwalkers and Tone Bringsdal.


Arthur Vaccari

Popup Records, Hamburg

Arthur Vaccari is in charge of the booking department of popup-records with two main tasks: first, the development of the international agency roster, composing from bands like: Seed To Tree (LU), Many Voices Speak (SWE), Coming Soon (FR), Havington (DE), LeRiche (CA). Second, pulling the strings of their main live events „Sommer in Altona", „Record Store Day" and „Pop Seasons“.

Arthur started to work in the music industry in 2012 through an internship and participated in projects like Stage Europe Network. In 2015 he joined Ton-e music until 2017 when he founded his own agency „Le Papaguy“ and worked as a booking agent, tour manager (for the band Brett) and as an event manager.


Beke Trojan

NEULAND CONCERTS, HAMBURG, DE

Beke is a promoter and booking agent at Neuland Concerts, one of the leading German agencies. At Neuland she is responsible for touring and festival booking for German and international pop/rock artists. Before joining Neuland Concerts in 2018, she worked at FKP Scorpio for 9 years. At FKP she was involved in festivals such as Hurricane/Southside, Bråvalla and Greenfield, before becoming a tour promoter for international acts. One of her highlights was making  the Biffy Clyro MTV Unplugged Tour in autumn 2018.


Isak Löb

Indiebyrån Oskadd, Stockholm, Sweden

Isak works with Indiebyrån Oskadd and is board member of Svensk Live – Unga arrangörsnätverket. He is part of the underground scene making indoor and outdoor events in Stockholm and Sweden.


DANIEL JOHANSSON

GOTHENBURG CULTURE FESTIVAL, SE

Daniel has been part of the music industry for almost 15 years and is one of the most experienced concert promoters in Gothenburg . Starting out as a production manager at PK Musik lead to becoming a partner and promoter at Kulturbolaget (KB West). Over the years Daniel has booked hundreds of artists and worked with everything from local talents to global stars like Beach Boys, Robert Plant and Morrissey.
Since 2018, Daniel is Head of Program at Gothenburg Culture Festival (Göteborgs Kulturkalas) being responsible for its larger stages. The festival is one of the largest culture festivals in Scandinavia with more than 1,5 million visits and over 1000 different bookings.


ANNELIE JOHANSSON

PEEPHOLE RECORDINGS, GOTHENBURG, SE

Annelie is a Gothenburg based artist and music producer; the creator and brain behind music acts ANNELIE (electro ambient pop) and Johnny, Johnny (Swedish reverb retro pop). Annelie is running the smallest indie label on earth, Peephole Recordings - mainly focusing on studio work and promoting Gothenburg bands through their music releases. Annelie is educated in 'Music, sound design & sound engineering', and has been touring a lot in Europe, India and Mexico with different music projects. Now also working with gender equality matters in the music industry, through the non-formal educational system in Sweden.


MARTIN HULTQVIST

PUSTERVIK, GOTHENBURG, SE

Martin has worked with booking, promoting and producing shows at Pustervik since the reopening 2012, when the larger capacity of the venue was introduced. Pustervik hosts around 500 acts each year and has a turnover of more than 65k tickets on live concerts, every year. Martin also booked and worked shows at the alternative venue Truckstop Alaska and tour managed acts in the US and Europe prior to starting his present job.


Matilda Munthe Gottberg

Export Music Sweden, sweden

Matilda Munthe Gottberg, Project Manager at Export Music Sweden, with previous experience at Swedish record- and production label To Whom It May Concern, Spotify, Universal Music Publishing and Grammis (The Swedish Grammy Awards). Export Music Sweden is an organisation founded by the music industry associations IFPI (record companies), STIM (composers & publishers) and SAMI (artists & musicians), working at an industry level to help export Swedish Music to the world. ExMS supports songwriters, musicians, recording artists and companies within the music industry to go global.


Lenny Renholm Falk

Kultivation, Gothenburg, SE

Lenny is an event coordinator, booking agent and manager at Kultivation. Along with work Lenny is studying to become a ‘Music Business Developer’ in 2020. Issues that Lenny is passionate about are gender equality, sustainability and inclusion in the music industry. Lenny is songwriter and lead vocalist of the melodic metal band Sins In Vain, and has also worked with Sweden Rock-kollo (a rock/metal camp) and at Gefle Metal Festival.

MIKEY JONNS

This Feeling, London, UK

This Feeling started as a monthly club night in London 2006 and has since evolved to be the no1 guitar music event in the UK, hosting up to 40 shows a month all over the country. Mikey has developed This Feeling into a renowned supporter of new music, being a music site and an important tour promoter who also runs stages at some of the biggest music events in England, such as The Great Escape and Isle of Wight Festival. The strategy has been to work hard, to put on the best new bands and keep on supporting them. That way they have been part of building the success for bands like Catfish and the Bottlemen, Blossoms and Bang Bang Romeo, and they continue to hold their position as an authority when it comes to predicting the guitar bands we will listen to tomorrow.

AMIE BORGAR

Yle, Helsinki, FI

Amie is Head of Music at the Swedish Yle (Svenska Yle) in Finland and is responsible programming music at the radio stations Yle Vega and Yle X3M and in charge for imaging and sound on Swedish Yle’s different platforms. Amie has previously worked as an event producer and put hours in at festivals, concerts and tours both with national and international artists in Finland and in Sweden. She is also involved in the event Musik & Talang, a conference and music festival in Vasa, Finland.


Linnea Landstedt

TYRANEX - Gothenburg, Sweden

– guitarist and singer with passion for the 80’s heavier metal era. She is the main songwriter in thrash/speed metal band TYRANEX, formed in 2005 and her most active band with three album releases and many live shows in Europe. Furthermore, she plays guitar in ICE AGE and is also running a new heavy metal project called TROTOAR.

Jan founded popup-records in 2001, which over the years have grown into one of Germany’s leading PR agencies and label service companies on the independent music market. popup-records‘ team of seven music enthusiasts offers the full scale of modern music marketing including customized PR and (digital) marketing campaigns in all media fields (radio, online, print, tv) for clients such as Cooking Vinyl, Caroline, Communion, The Orchard and Because Music. popup-records‘ in-house booking department completes the company’s service portfolio. AMELIE BIES

Noisolution, GERMANY

Driven by passion and heart Amelie carved out her own path into music at a young age, working and interning behind the scenes of live shows and label work, which drove her to Germany's capital. She has been part of the team at Noisolution: an indie-label and promotion agency focusing on the heavier side of music. Amelie involvement has been around most parts of the label - from the first demo, to developing the artists to putting the records out there - and mainly taking care of radio promotion.


Quirin Fischer

Popup Records, Hamburg

Quirin started his career in the music industry as a touring artist before deciding to fully dedicate his passion to the music business. He holds a bachelor‘s degree in ‚music business‘ and a master‘s degree in ‚music and creative industries‘ during which he worked on hands-on projects for e.g. Red Bull, Universal Music Group and Warner Music. In his current position at popup-records - one of Germany’s leading PR-agency and distribution label for the indie/alternative/pop/ music-scene - Quirin takes care of conceptualizing customized PR- and marketing campaigns and taking them into action with his personal area of expertise being radio promotion and digital marketing.

Sari H Wilholm, founder of Brands For Fans Sweden, has always had a passionate relationship with music, drinks and popular culture. Before starting the company she was running clubs, festivals and also helped bands and artists with everything from clothes to booking gigs. The business idea behind Brands For Fans is to help artists create and develop their own beverages/spirits and it's the only company in the world with this niche, developing beverages as part of the artists' merchandise portfolio. Among their clients you find Slayer, GHOST, Motörhead, Judas Priest and In Flames. Apart from being the Marketing Director at Brands For Fans she also runs a female network, Queens Of Stockholm.


CONNY BRÄNNBERG

Conny Brännberg is the “regional minister of Culture” in the Västra Götaland Region. The cultural affairs committee gives assignments to more than 100 departments, institutions, organisations and associations and of which several in the music field.
One overall task for the committee is to provide the prerequisites for a rich cultural life for all inhabitants of Västra Götaland, wherever they live. Conny emphasizes that a great availability of a wide range of music scenes is of high importance for achieving this. But also that a strong and diverse music industry is becoming increasingly important for job creation.


THERESA ZIEGLER

Theresa Ziegler is editor in chief at The Gap, Austria's longest standing pop culture magazine. She's also a DJ and dog content curator. And she's been overthinking things since 1994.


JERK SÖRENSON

KULTURRÅDET, STOCKHOLM, SE

Jerk has worked at the Swedish Arts Council since 2011. He has been involved in various music related areas over the years, such as the publishing of music, organizers of music events and also supporting independent music groups, where he's working as of now. Among other areas, beside music, he's also been involved in "samverkansmodellen" (the Swedish cultural collaboration model), working with museums and also with civilian society issues. 


KIM ABELSSON

WOODY WEST, GOTHENBURG, SE

Woody-Kim has been a promoter at the alternative rock-pop-country club Woody West since 2000. The club is still going strong and produces around 50 show yearly, and with no signs of stopping either. Since 2012 Kim is also handling booking and promoting shows at Pustervik. 


JOHAN OLSSON

WARNER MUSIC, STOCKHOLM, SE

A veteran in the Swedish music industry, Johan started at EMI in the early 90's. When EMI got incorporated with Warner Music, Johan followed path and he is these days mainly active as an A&R and also working with catalogue. He's still involved with artists such as Ulf Lundell, Little Jinder, Titiyo, Håkan Hellström and Paul Rey.


JOHANNA BECKMAN

UNDER BRON/BY:LARM, STOCKHOLM, SE

Johanna have been in the music business for 16 years. As an agent, a festival promoter and as a manager but now she's mainly focused on being the creative manager at Trädgården/Under Bron in Stockholm. She's also handling booking of Swedish artists at the festival By:Larm in Oslo, Norway. She was one of the driving forces behind Gagneffestivalen from 2003-2018, a festival that now has a break, and she's ever active as a DJ.


KATTI HOFLIN

VG REGION, GOTHENBURG, SE

Katti is the head of culture in the region of Västra Götaland, and has been for the last two years. Prior to this, she's done a whole lot - Katti has been a TV-host, she's a writer with several books published and she's been running culture institutions and worked as the head of Stockholms Stadsbibliotek, and she also has a background as a songwriter and musician. 


MATTIAS ALBINSSON

Mattias Albinsson has worked for the management and booking agency Headstomp for more than 10 years as an agent. Headstomp works all over the world but Mattias's focus is the European market where he mainly represents artists from Sweden. Mattias works with artists such as Sumie, Hey Elbow, Jennie Abrahamson, Melby, Sophie Zelmani, Agent Side Grinder, Tonbruket, Henric de la Cour and Albert af Ekenstam.


BEN MALÉN

Ben got into the music industry in the 80's, first as a musician and a popular artists himself, and then on to discovering and developing artists. Over the years Ben has been involved with legendary acts, such as Broder Daniel, Brainpool, The Sounds and Miriam Bryant. Today he is active as Senior A&R director at The Bank, a Nordic music company (music publishing, management, record label) representing Minds of 99, Hugo Helmig, Alphabeat, Vera, Malou Prytz, The Bongo Club and more.


MATS NAALSUND

Mats works with the production team for Inferno Metal Conference. As a part of Inferno Metal Festival, Norway’s biggest metal fest, the Inferno Music Conference gathers the Norwegian metal scene to meet up with metal music professionals and media from all over the world.


THOMAS HEHER

WAVES VIENNA, VIENNA, AT

Thomas Heher is working for several companies as a consultant in the field of music business and marketing and as a music and film curator. He developed the concept for Waves Vienna – Music Festival & Conference and is as the director of the festival responsible for programming and marketing.
Previously Thomas worked as the chief editor of pop culture magazine TBA and co-founded the pop culture magazine The Gap and the literature magazine Volltext. Before that he used to run the viennese record label P.A.M. Records and collected lots of experience when promoting concerts, readings and film screenings.


DARTSYA TARKOVSKA

Dartsya Tarkovska is the co-founder of Music Export Ukraine and Music Conference Ukraine.
Music Export Ukraine is an independent initiative, which helps Ukrainian emerging artists to establish connections, promote their music, develop career and talent on the international level. Organization's main activities include artist support, cross-sector collaborations, international exchange programs, educational events, along with the only one export oriented music conference and showcase MCU in Kyiv.


CHRISTOPH STORBECK

LINECHECK FESTIVAL, MILAN, IT

Christoph is the head of the conference program at Italy’s leading music conference Linecheck Music Meeting & Festival Milan, coming up 20-24 November 2019. He also a manager working with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah in Europe, with Palermo's indie folk songwriter Fabrizio Cammarata and with Tucson’s dark western cumbia outfit XIXA. He is also taking care of international relations and logistics for the award winning indie rock tastemaker festival Ypsigrock, Castelbuono, Sicily. He also booked tours, tour managed and promoted concerts in Italy and abroad, represented labels and coordinating releases internationally. The German born and raised but frequent Italian traveller for almost 20 years has been founding member of the Music Managers Forum Italy.


JONAS ROHDE-MOE

ROHDOS RECORDS, OSLO, NO

Jonas have played and produced music for many years, active in band such as Disaster in the Universe, Bellman Kaja Gunnufsen, Pelicat and more. He recently started his label called 'Rohdos Records', named after his studio 'Rohdos Garage', where they also record and publish live sessions of remarkable quality. Besides music Jonas loves football and spicy food. 


DANIEL OSZKAR RAKOS

FEKETE ZAJ FESTIVAL, BUDAPEST, HU

Daniel is a freelance music promoter and musician, he started Rhododendrone Booking, with the goal to promote and present fresh talent from the international underground music scene. The musical interest and focus is on significant contemporary genres, but mostly from the darker regions. 2019 he also joined the crew behind Fekete Zaj Festival, Hungary's most obscure underground festival, as a co-curator of the line up and booking.


JAMES BARKER

MYSTIC SONS, LONDON, UK

James is the director and founder of Mystic Sons, a music press and radio company and online magazine based in London. He recently founded a new London-based record label, Silent Kid Records, focusing on digital and vinyl releases. Mystic Sons PR focuses on traditional national press and radio services in the UK, alongside digital marketing including tastemaker online blogging and Spotify playlist plugging. James is also a big fan of dogs, and one day aims to own two labrador retrievers.


BALAZS VARGA

FEKETE ZAJ FESTIVAL, BUDAPEST, HU

Balazs is an independent music professional from Hungary. He is the founder of Tixa ticketing platform and the director of Fekete Zaj Festival, one of the leading underground events in Hungary, and also active as the band manager of Vágtázó Halottkémek, a shaman punk, Hungarian folk, and punk rock band. 


HEIKO WESSELS

GREYWOOD RECORDS, BERLIN, DE

Heiko started his music industry career in 2005 working as promotion manager for several German indie record labels, before he got hired by Golden Gate Management representing major label artists and music producers working for companies like Universal, Sony, City Slang or Motor. 2013 he launched the record label Greywood Records, a company to put the different fields of work under one umbrella. Nowadays, Greywood Records is a label for modern folk music and singer songwriters that also offers music publishing, label services, international music PR as well as playlist pitching.


EMMA WEBER

MAKE WAVE PRODUCTIONS, GOTHENBURG, SE

Make Wave Productions is a management and production company founded in 2016 by co-owners Elaine Glantz and Emma Weber, who combined have more than 20 years experience from working in the music industry. Make Wave productions specializes in artist management, event and promotional planning, event production and technical administration. Since its launch Make Wave have been working with various artists in a management capacity, most notably Wintergatan who have seen their online followers rise from below 5,000 to over 1.5 million and who’s viral video Marble Machine has had over 100 million views. 


MARTIN ROSELL

Jubel, Stockholm, SE

Martin Rosell is head of artists at the agency Jubel in Stockholm. His job involves being the agent for a number of artists, the team leader of the live department and also carrying the creative responsibility of the agency. Prior to working at Jubel he managed his own company Rosell & Bergson, doing both big and small events in the Karlstad area of Sweden, and before that he was involved in booking at the legendary Arvikafestivalen.


CECILIA SOOJEONG YI

Zandari Festa, Seoul, KR

Cecilia Soojeong Yi manages music and performing arts projects such as festivals and artist management. She's the executive manager for Zandari Festa, Korea’s premier independent international showcase festival that attracts artists and professionals from all over the world. Zandari Festa is an annual event that takes place in the Hongdae area, the epicenter of youth culture in South Korea and ground zero for the country’s indie music scene. In 2018, she co-founded “DMZ Peace Train Music Festival”, taking charge of booking and international relationships.


TATJANA DOMANY

Austrian Music Export, Vienna, AT

Since 2008 Tatjana has worked for the Viennese electronic music label G-Stone Recordings (Kruder & Dorfmeister, Tosca) and as a freelancer in music and culture marketing for local records labels, promoters and associations. Since 2011, she is responsible for export activities at the Austrian Music Fund / Austrian Music Export. Tasks include the implementation of export strategies, the organisation and funding of international showcases as well as the support of Austrian artists and companies for international tours and releases.


HENKE BRANNERYDH

Rockpodden, Stockholm, SE

Henke runs the popular podcast Rockpodden, portraying both upcoming names and those well established. Started out with nothing but passion and love for all the great music created, the idea of portraying the people in and around the scene quickly became something bigger. Rockpodden today has a large and loyal listener base and has had guests from both the absolute world elite but also from the forgotten garages. However, searching for names that are well known is far from the main purpose of Rockpodden, instead, the drive is about being able to highlight the smaller bands and the people who make world-class music but are not yet reaching an audience on par with its quality.


ALONA DMUKHOVSKA

Music Export Ukraine, Kiev, UA

Alona Dmukhovska is the co-founder of the independent initiative Music Export Ukraine, building international presence for Ukrainian musicians outside of the country and developing their own industry from the inside. In the summer of 2019 they also organized Music Conference Ukraine with one of the biggest music festival in Eastern Europe, Atlas Weekend.


FRANZ HERGOVICH

Austrian Music Export, Vienna, AT

Franz works as a project manager at mica – music austria and co-founded Austrian Music Export as common initiative of mica and the Austrian Music Fund. Since 2011 he is the representative of the managing director at mica. Before this he was head of national distribution at Soul Seduction for a decade and also active as a concert promoter and DJ. Currently he is also a member of the board of the network of European Music Export Offices, EMEE (European Music Exporters Exchange).


PHIL TAGGART

BBC RADIO 1, VEVO, LONDON, UK

Phil Taggart is one of the youngest faces tearing up the night time on BBC Radio 1. His show has cult status amongst listeners and he also fronts the Specialist Chart, a 60 minute digest of all Radio 1 after hours has to offer. Besides that, Phil presents new music on Vevo, from DSCVR to 'Lift' to 'Ones to Watch' and also produces his own show DSCVR New Videos. Along with this Phil runs a show on Channel 4, he runs a Record Label - Hometown Records as well as a hugely successful and usually sold out monthly club night in London called Slacker. And oh, he also wrote a book about the music industry called a Slacker guide to the music industry.


ELIN STRÖMBERG

SR P3, POPMANI, STOCKHOLM, SE

Multi-tasker and DJ Elin Strömberg is currently found at Sveriges Radio P3 on Wednesdays where she plays the latest in new pop and indie, but on the resume you also find editor at the music magazine Popmani and founder of the acclaimed Stockholm club Common People. With a musical expertise on britpop, new wave and indie, you can expect to hear both nostalgic golden grains and new discoveries.

CARLO EMME

PLAN B, MALMÖ, SE

Carlo started the independent label Kollektivet Records in 2014, with a group of friends living together and also being in four different bands. 2015 that grew into a basement called Plan B, an independent music venue for members only, which during four years turned into a popular and safe space with loads of live music set up in a sustainable way. Just when Plan B seemed to have created a club that would just continue, the city of Malmö forced Carlo to close it all down and apply for permits. Permits that never arrived. Ultimately Plan B decided to find a partner and reopen following all regulations. The ironic part is that Plan B went from shutting down to expanding and now running a venue with three stages and a 1000 capacity.


ANIKA MOTTERSHAW

BELLA UNION, LONDON, UK

Anika Mottershaw is the A&R and Project Manager at Bella Union where she has worked for the past eight years. Anika started at Bella Union after moving to London, dropping out from university and meeting label founder Simon Raymonde at the gigs she was going to. Not long after this, Anika became Label Assistant, signing her first artist in 2012. She now works as A&R and is project manager for about half of the roster, working closely with the Bella Union artists. Outside of the label Anika is a huge fan of literature and film, and loves to get involved in creative endeavours as often as possible.


LIO KANINE

Kanine Records, New York, US

Based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY, Lio has been involved in almost every aspect of the music business. From the indie record store, running club nights, booking bands, a&r, managing bands, physical and digital distribution - he is now focused on running his own label Kanine Records, that has remained a healthy environment for the past 16 years. Kanine has released numerous debut albums from indie greats like Grizzly Bear, Chairlift and Surfer Blood and they continue to focus on fresh sounds all handled with love. Kanine also runs the festival New Colossus, happening in Brooklyn in March 2020.

Welcome to the Village, Leeuwarden, NL Eva is the program coordinator for the festivals Welcome to the Village and Explore the North, both situated in Leeuwarden in the Netherlands. When necessary she’s a fighter for female equality and at night she makes a lot of loud music with the band BlackboxRed - a grungy duo with guitars and drums. She used to be a promoter at the venue Podium Asteriks and enjoys black-spiced-coffee in the morning and she's a firm believer about socks being an important item of ones outfit.


SARUN PINYARAT

Fungjai, Bangkok, TH

Sarun has recently founded 'Fungjai'​, the fastest growing Thai music community startup where he also acts as a CEO. Fungjai helps connecting indie artists with their fans through their own streaming service, digital music magazine, concerts and festivals. He has a background in visual design field and have worked across various creative fields around the globe, including Bangkok, Copenhagen and Silicon Valley.


Camilla Backman

Garageprojektet Hammenhög, Se

Camilla is the founder and owner of the DIY-venue Garageprojektet Hammenhög located way out on the countryside of Österlen in Skåne, Sweden. She started the venue together with her ex. husband Dag Nemeth back in 2008 and has been running it since. The venue is located in the garage next to her house, an old General Motors car-dealer and holds up to 450 people. It’s a small place with a big heart and grows in popularity every year.

David is a senior A&R manager at Sony Music Sweden, where he's been active since 2009. With 20+ years in the industry he's also had the same position at Universal Music, Stockholm Records and Sweden Music and on his track record you find artists such as Lisa Miskovsky, The Cardigans, The Hellacopters and In Flames. And he's still searching for the best song ever.

My has been active as an agent for 7 years, and the last 5 of them at well established Blixten & Co. She's representing around 15 of the artists on the agencies roster, among them Pale Honey, Timo Räisänen and Linn Koch-Emmery. Blixten & Co is now a part of All Things Live. 


Dom Gourlay

UNDER THE RADAR/GIGWISE, NOTTINGHAM, UK

Based in Nottingham, UK, Dom Gourlay has written for publications such as Drowned In Sound, Gigwise and Under The Radar since the early 2000s - and prior to that he contributed to a number of fanzines, from the early 90’s on. Dom is also active as a live music promoter and has curated festival stages over the past 15 years as well as DJ-ing at various events. Musically he’s open to most genres but specifically a fan of anything aggressive, experimental, confrontational and loud. 


Micke Lindevall

DEBASER, Stockholm, Se

With almost 20 years of experience as a venue in Sweden, Debaser has a solid expertise of the live music industry in the Nordic region and a deep knowledge of the Swedish music scene. Debaser has since the start in 2002 operated and programmed 8 stages within 4 different venues, in two different cities which now only 2 is left. Debaser Strand 750 capacity and Bar Brooklyn 250 capacity, both located in Stockholm. Debaser is part of the Creative Europe funded Liveurope network and The Nordic PULS. Together with Blå in Oslo and Vega in Copenhagen Debaser form the new Nordic export hub Above 55°. Micke is head of program, co-founder, partner of Debaser and board member of Svensk Live (Platform for the Swedish live music industry) The aim for Debaser in 2020 is to become a sustainable venue. Both in terms of the environmental issues but also as the struggle continues as a grassroot venue in an era of growing gentrification.


Marita Isaksson

Svensk Live, Se

Marita is project manager; Let’s hear it from the crowd! at Svensk Live and chairperson of the board for Svensk Live – Unga arrangörsnätverket. In her spare time, she runs the DIY gallery Cat Eyed People’s Playground in Copenhagen, Denmark. Svensk Live and Svensk Live – Unga arrangörsnätverket is the voice of Swedish Live Music Industry, and together the organizations gather over 200 members all across Sweden. They are a network of clubs, festivals, non-profit organizations, amusement parks, promoters, arenas and agent companies, and work closely together with their sister organizations within the Nordic countries and as members of the European network Live DMA and the European festival network Yourope.
