BLODSKAM
SWEDEN
Black metal duo Blodskam first saw the night's darkness back in 1998, when the two brothers Aghora and Dödfödd felt the necessity of a joint project. A rotten seed was sown, but took its time to germinate. It wasn't until 2014 that Aghora picked up the thread and finished writing some initial song sketches which, together with new material, became the album "Là-Bas", released on Gothenburg-based Suicide Records. The album was praised by, among others, Fredrik Strage in TV4's Nyhetsmorgon and became the "record of the day" in DN. On the follow up "Ave Eva" the ambitions are raised further, both musically and lyrically, with a reinterpretation of the biblical creation, chronologically told from the perspective of the rebellious Eve.
