Gothenburg based singer, bass player, song writer and producer Jacob Öhrvall won the price for newcomer of the year (årets nykomling) with the album "Hjärnan av och smajlet på" at Manifestgalan 2023 (Swdish Indie Awards). Though 40 years of age he still manage incorporate a youthful and vital nerve to his music, which contains playful sounds from the 90’s, grand synth arpeggios and distorted bass. Together with sharp and sometimes ironic lyrics you’ll have an exciting mix of nostalgia and innovation.
