Fägring debuted in 2022 with the EP "Rockpsalm" (Startracks), which drew its inspiration from a clear guitar-based indie tradition. The first single from the new album, the pulsating "Så länge vi," is accentuated through influences from both post-punk and kraut. The guitars blare, the drums grind, and the arrangement explodes into a big epic chorus. Fägring does not rely on grand gestures but executes them with grace and restraint. "The inspiration comes from my everyday life," singer Anton Tuvesson usually says. "A rather gray world with a few nuggets that sometimes leave a mark on me, which usually turn into a song. A lot of self-pity, but also a bit of nostalgia and hopefulness, a light approaching on the horizon."
