Thus is a melodic, progressive death metal band from Aarhus, Denmark, formed in 2020 by Frederik Jensen. Their DIY approach focuses on detailed songwriting and presentation. In May 2024, they released their EP "The Terminal Condition of Existence," featuring five singles with music videos and artwork by Frederik. Drums were recorded by Sebastian Lanser (ex-Obscura, Obsidius). The band includes Frederik on vocals/guitar, Tobias Hornstrup on guitar, and Sebastian Skousgaard on bass. Members have collaborated with renowned musicians and bands like Steve DiGiorgio, Crocell, and have toured Europe as session musicians.
