Paula Simó-Tomás holds a PhD in International Economics and Tourism from the University of Valencia, where she works as a professor and researcher. Her focus is on public policies that promote regional development by linking music, culture, and tourism. She leads the "Music for Development" research unit and contributes to the "Tourism and Leisure Strategies" unit and the "Tourism Public Management, Aperturisme" group. Dr. Simó-Tomás collaborates with various media and partners with universities, public institutions, and private organizations. She is part of the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Valencia and serves as vice-chair of the Music Cities Network.
