Rikke Andersen became the director of SPOT Festival on January 1, 2024, following her role as venue manager and booker at Fermaten, a regional music venue in Herning. She holds a master’s degree in Music and Media Studies and has a diverse background in the music industry, including roles in record labels, marketing, and communications. Rikke has also been involved in various cultural projects, such as the Aarhus Calling songwriting camp. In addition to her leadership at SPOT Festival, she serves as the chair of the board for the industry organization Dansk Live and sits on the boards of Tempi, the genre organization for roots and folk music in Denmark, and Den Jyske Kunstfond (The Jutland Arts Foundation).
