Mads Mulvad has been the Artistic Director of Studenterhuset since 1997. With experience as a tour bus driver, promoter, artist manager, and venue operator since the late '80s, he brings a wealth of expertise to the role. Studenterhuset, a venue known for supporting upcoming local and international acts, is Aalborg’s hub for new and experimental music. Recognized as a Regional Venue by the Danish Arts Council for 24 years, it also hosts two festivals: Northern Winter Beat, celebrating boundary-breaking and innovative music, and Way Up North, showcasing emerging talent from northern Denmark.
