With over 39 years in the Danish music industry, Jesper Mardahl has worked across various roles, from musician to A&R manager, producer, label manager, and marketing head for major companies like Genlyd Grammofon, Medley Records, Sonet Dansk Grammofon, BMG Ariola, and EMI Music.
Since 2010 he initiated the country's first networking platform for the professional music community, Promus, acting as the Managing Director. Furthermore, Jesper has been the initiator of Music City Aarhus and co-founder of the international, Music Cities Network. Through his work for Promus, Music Cities Network and SPOT+, he has also been a regular panelist and speaker at international industry festivals such as SXSW, Eurosonic, By:Larm, Canadian Music Week, Reeperbahn Festival and SPOT +. Since 2015, Jesper is the conference manager for SPOT + - the conference branch of the SPOT Festival.
