Micah Smith is a dynamic force in both the music industry and community empowerment. Her musical journey includes collaborations with artists like Reeny Smith, Joel Plaskett, Matt Andersen, and Michael Bublé. She has also opened for performers such as Lisa Fischer, Jully Black, and Anderson Paak. Recognizing her dedication to equity and inclusion, Music Nova Scotia invited Micah to join their team, strengthening ties with the African Nova Scotian/Black community. She also serves on the board of ADVANCE Canada’s Black Music Business Collective and participated in Women in Music Canada's Leadership Accelerator Program.
As a JUNOfest Producer for the 2024 JUNO Awards, Micah continues to shape the industry. In August 2023, she launched Crescendo Fest, showcasing her visionary leadership and commitment to celebrating Black music and culture.
