Frederik was active at record company Play It Again Sam ([PIAS]) as head of Business Affairs for Continental Europe for 15 years. In parallel, he was active as a musician in the rock band The Van Jets, who were a household name in the Belgian music scene until they disbanded in late 2018. Frederik is now active as an artist manager and established his own legal and business consultancy company "Notes on Notes" in 2024, focusing on the music industry.
