Joppe Pihlgren is the managing director of Swedish Live and has performed live more than 1,000 times with the pop band Docenterna, which he co-founded in 1980. He is one of the longest-serving individuals in the 'creative industries' in Sweden, having worked at KK-foundation and The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth. He has also been a television presenter and TV producer. His credentials also include a children's book! Swedish Live, with its 350 members, advocates for improving the conditions for live music promoters. Swedish Live celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2024.
