Berkli Johnson is a Music Festival Programmer at SXSW. Growing up in Austin, she developed a deep appreciation for the festival, which led her to an internship at SXSW. After graduating from Texas State in 2020, Berkli joined the music festival team full-time. She focuses on curating unique showcases across multiple genres and collaborates with agencies, labels, and other festivals to promote upcoming artists. Additionally, she has a focus on countries including Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway in order to help them discover opportunities at the event and showcase their artists. Her personal musical tastes include pop punk, old country, and indie rock.
